Getting started
- Make sure your iPhone runs iOS 27 or later.
- Open Earluma once and pick your headphones.
- Open Control Center, tap the audio output button and choose Earluma.
- Play music in Spotify, Apple Music or any other app. Use the Original/Earluma switch in the app or in Control Center to compare.
Restore purchases
Purchases belong to your Apple ID, so they come back on a new iPhone or after reinstalling.
- Sign in to the App Store with the Apple ID you used to buy.
- In Earluma, open Settings and tap Restore purchases.
- Your profiles, All Access or Lifetime unlock again. This needs an internet connection.
Cancel the All Access subscription or the free trial
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Earluma All Access, then Cancel Subscription.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or the current period to avoid the next charge. You keep access until the period you paid for ends. Apple's guide: Cancel a subscription from Apple.

Common questions
I don't see Earluma in Control Center
Check that you are on iOS 27 or later and that you opened the Earluma app at least once. Then open Control Center and long-press the music controls or tap the audio output button (the icon with circles and a triangle). Earluma is listed with the other outputs. Restarting the iPhone can help after installing.
Earluma is selected but there is no sound
Earluma needs your headphones connected to the iPhone, because it plays the corrected sound on them. Connect your headphones, then pick Earluma again in Control Center. If it still stays silent, open the Earluma app, check that it is running and that the volume is up.
Does it work with Spotify and Apple Music?
Yes. Earluma works at the audio output, so music and podcast apps go through it. Video apps (YouTube, Netflix and similar) can’t use this kind of output yet; that’s an iOS limit.
Which headphones are supported?
Every headphone gets the free generic correction. Measured profiles depend on published lab measurements of that model. Search for yours in the app's catalogue, and if it's missing, send a request from the app.
What happens when the 10-minute preview ends?
Each measured profile can be heard free for 10 minutes of listening, once. After that, Earluma goes back to the generic correction until you buy the profile or unlock All Access or Lifetime.
Why does Earluma ask for the microphone?
iOS needs that permission for the audio mode Earluma uses to play the corrected sound to your headphones. Earluma does not record or store any audio. See the privacy policy.
Original and Earluma sound equally loud. Is that right?
Yes. Both are level-matched on purpose, so you compare tone and not loudness.
Does Earluma drain the battery?
Processing audio uses some extra power, as any audio effect does. Choose your headphones directly in Control Center when you don't need the correction.
